About the Journal
The Revista Realidad educativa is a semi-annual (March and July) peer-reviewed academic journal published by the Facultad de Educación, Psicología y Familia de la Universidad Finis Terrae, Santiago, Chile. It is defined as a specialized journal in education, addressing various underlying phenomena and practices. As a result, ourjournal aims to disseminate scientific works that contribute to enrichingvarious lines of research within the field of education and pedagogy. Wewelcome both empirical research reports and essays, state-of-the-artreviews, reviews, and related texts.

Open access Policy
The Revista Realidad Educativa is open access. It is fully funded by the institution and does not charge any fees to authors.
The CC license allows for immediate free access to the work and authorizes any user to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of the articles, track them for indexing, pass them as data to computer software, or use them for any other lawful purpose.
This statement aligns with the DOAJ definition of open access.
Self-archive Policy
This Journal allows and encourages authors to publish the pre-print version of their submitted manuscripts (accepted version) on their personal websites or in institutional and thematic repositories. Please indicate that the article will be published in Revista Realidad Educativa, including the DOI under which it will be available, which should be requested from journals@uft.cl.
Digital Preservation Policy
This publication belongs to thePKP Preservation Network (PKP PN). The LOCKSS program provides decentralized and distributed preservation, uninterrupted perpetual access, and preservation of the authentic original version of the content.
The journal is also deposited in the repository of the Universidad Finis Terrae.
Plagiarism and self-plagiarism prevention.
The misuse of third-party resources or one's own constitutes one of the most serious violations of ethics and integrity in scientific research and publication. This journal is concerned about the phenomenon and works on detecting plagiarism and self-plagiarism through electronic means.
This means that it undergoes a review of paper titles, author names, and content through web search engines and by using the Similarity Check Service provided bt CrossRef.
