Abstract

This text is a short bibliographic essay on the book Allende en la Argentina. Intelectuales, prensa y edición, entre lo local y lo global (1970-1976), a book published by Tren en Movimiento in 2023. The text outlines the main thesis and historiographic contributions of the work, and highlights the variety and breadth of the primary sources used, as well as the considerable contributions this monograph makes to the transnational history of the Unidad Popular and the cultural history of the Latin American Cold War.

The following is a dialogue between the book's author, Mariano Zarowsky, a social scientist and specialist in communication and culture, and historian Eugenia Palieraki.
